IC View+ Adding Devices and Sharing a Device

The Home Page () of IC View allows you to add and view your devices, view created favorites as well as access the Device Details.

1. How to Add a Device (Recorder, IP camera, IC Home device)

a. Tapto add devices through QR code scanning, manual adding, and online searching.

b. Enter the device information according to the different methods below.

QR Scan/P2P: Selecting this method will allow the app to display your camera to scan a QR code from a device or a saved device card. If a device card is scanned, the devices on that card will be imported directly. If you scan a QR from a device SN, you will be prompted to choose the device type. Select the device type manually if it cannot be identified automatically. Note that the devices you add via P2P should have an online status under the P2P section.  See below for an example:

IP/Domain: Manually enter the IP or domain address on the App to add the device. Select the TCP port and input the correct login credential as well as a name for the device.

Note: If accessing a device on mobile or remote network, you will need to set up port forwarding on the router for device's TCP port. You can then add via external IP or DDNS using the forwarded TCP port.

LAN Scan: This will allow the phone to search for a device that is in the same LAN as the mobile phone's Wi-Fi.  You can then add the device through P2P or choose the local IP connection to add the device to the App.

2. Searching Devices

This allows you to search through your added devices using keywords. Tapand then enter keywords (such as a recorder or channel name) in the search bar. You can then tap on a search result to view the live interface of that device.

3. Switching Device Displaying Mode

Tapto switch device displaying modes on the Home between grid and list mode. 

4. Changing Device Order

1. On the home section, tap the icon at the bottom to enter the ordering mode. Tap and holdnext to a device to move it up or down. Tap "Save" on the top right to save the order.

2. The devices will return to their original position if you cancel the order.

5. Creating a Device Card

1. Tap on "Setting"() on the bottom menu.

2. Tap "Export Device" on the top section of Settings.

3. Select specified devices or all (up to 10) on the selection interface, and then tap on "Create Device Card" at the bottom. You will then have the option to create a card password, in which the devices can only be imported after entering the set card password. Tap on "Cancel" to skip the password step and proceed.

4. The interface of the created device card QR code will display. Other mobile devices can now scan this QR code to import the devices to their app. To save to the phone, tap on the Save icon on the top right section.

6. Linking to different Applications (advanced users only)

1. You can set an application link under Setting > Settings > URL. For example, typing icrsspro:// enables that icon to open ICRSS Pro when tapped.

2. Tapto open the linked application.
