Local Interface:
The local interface is the set of menus that you would operate while physically accessing your system, this would require a mouse and a monitor connected directly to the AVR.

Reviewing Recorded Footage:
To review your recorded footage you will need to select the Video menu (see Figure 1).
Note - dates with small dots under them have footage.
1. Select the desired day on the calendar. (see Figure 2, Arrow 1)
2. Select the camera/channel desired from the "CAM NAME" list. (see Figure 2, Arrow 2)
3. Select the play arrow to initiate playback.
4. Select a specific time to view. (See Figure 2, Arrow 3)
Backing Up Recorded Footage:
To save footage a start and end time need to be specified.
Note: The previous steps for "Reviewing Recorded Footage" will need to be accomplished prior to the next steps!
1. Select desired start time. (see Figure 2, Arrow 3)
2. Select the scissors icon to set start time for desired clip. (see Figure 2, Arrow 4)
3. Repeat step 2 to set the end time for the desired clip.
4. To save the desired clip, select the floppy disk icon. (see Figure 2, Arrow 5)
Note: A USB storage drive will be required to export the clip.
5. Select the Backup button on the Backup menu. (see Figure 3)

Web Interface:
A web interface or web GUI is similar to the local interface. To access the web interface/GUI you will need to input the system's IP address into a web browser (Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Firefox, etc.).
Note: A browser that supports HTML 5 will be required if you need to pull an image.
Reviewing Recorded Footage:
To review your footage you will need to select Video in the main menu (see Figure 4).
1. In the Video menu you will need to select the desired day on the calendar. (see Figure 5, Arrow 1)
2. After selecting a day, you will need to select a camera/channel to pull footage from. (see Figure 5, Arrow 2)
3. Initiate playback by clicking the play button. (see Figure 5, Arrow 3)
Backing Up Recorded Footage:
Note: To save your desired footage, the previous steps for Reviewing Recorded Footage need to be accomplished.
1. Select the scissors icon and specify your desired start time in HH:MM:SS format. (see Figure 5, Arrow 4)
2. Specify the desired end time in HH:MM:SS format. (see Figure 5, Arrow 4)
3. Save the clip by selecting the floppy disk icon. (see Figure 5, Arrow 5)
