Reviewing and Backing Up Footage (NVR 4.0)

Local Interface:

Left click on the search bar at the bottom of the screen
Locate 'Playback' from the menu and select it using left-click
Right-click anywhere to dismiss the on-screen keyboard
Left-click the magnifying glass icon to navigate to the 'Playback' menu
Select the camera you wish to view footage from by left-clicking the selection box adjacent to it
Select the calendar icon on the bottom next to the START date to select the starting time-frame (keep in mind that only one day of footage can be queried at a time)
After selecting 'OK' on the start date the bar at the bottom of the screen should populate with a colored bar across the bottom of the screen
Left-click anywhere on the colored bar at the bottom of the screen to begin playing the footage from that point on the timeline
In order to export a specific timeframe you'll need to left click the time field at the bottom right of the screen, next to BACKUP and under START to select the starting time
Select the time field under STOP in order to specify the ending time of the exported clip
Select the 'SAVE' button after the time has been specified to bring up the BACKUP menu
Select the backup device you'd like to export the video to at the top of the menu (this would typically be a flash drive or other external storage device)
Select the Backup button at the bottom of the screen
Select the Start button at the bottom of the screen to begin exporting the video to your storage device

Internet Explorer or Edge in I.E. mode is required for plugins

Reviewing Recorded Footage:

Log into the recorder by typing the IP address into Microsoft Edge in IE mode
Select Playback -> Playback
On the right hand side of the screen, select the camera grid selector to choose the cameras you'd like to review
Select the date/time from Start Time and End Time
After selecting the day and camera successfully the bar at the bottom of the screen will be highlighted (the color of the bar corresponds to the record type at the bottom of the screen)
Click the highlighted bar at the bottom of the screen to being playback from that specific point
Type the start time and end time in the Backup parameter near the bottom of the screen
Select Save and choose the location on your computer where you want to save the file
