Summary
When trying initiate 2 way talk on ICRSS Pro/ IC View, the 2-way talk will initiate but no sound will be generated from the audio out input of the Recorder/ Camera. This is typically due to lack of app permissions from the phone.
Setting App Permissions
You can go to you Phone settings and navigate to the app section and tap on ICRSS Pro/ IC View. From there, you will need to make sure that the microphone permission is enabled. See image below.
If you do not see this microphone option, follow the workaround steps below.
Allowing Microphone Permissions in the App
While connected to a recorder or camera in the Live View section, long tap the 2 way talk button as shown in the image below.
The Voice Call menu will now be shown and a notification asking for microphone permissions will populate as shown below. Tap on OK.
If you do not see the microphone permission notification after the long press, it is best to create a device card to backup your devices on the app and then delete and re-install ICRSS Pro/ IC View. Click here for directions on creating a Device card.
