How to Enable Home Doorbell (Chime) or Link a Singer to a Dinger

In this article, we will cover how to enable a standard home doorbell chime system or link a Singer to a Dinger. The steps for either are the same and can be done fairly quickly.

*Note that the maximum amount of Singers that can connect to a single Dinger is 4.

Notes:

1. Can only be done from the main user's account (the account used to set up the Dinger).

2. If adding a Singer (IC Realtime's wireless chime) it must already be set up and linked to your account prior to doing these steps.

Step 1: Navigate to your Dinger and select the 3 dots (...) button.

Step 2: Select "Link Doorbell Chime".

Step 3: Select "Add New Chime".

The remaining steps will be broken into A for Singer or B for Home Doorbell Chime.

Step 4A: Select Singer from the list. (A red check mark will display next to the one selected)

 Note: If no Singer is listed then you haven't set up your Singer yet.

Step 5A: Select the checkmark in the top right to save the selection. You are done.

Step 4B: Select "Enable Electronic/Mechanical Chime"

Step 5B: Select the appropriate chime.

Note: Most homes have a Mechanical chime.

Step 6B: Select "OK" to save settings. You will be prompted if it successfully saves your settings.
