The IC Home (Dash) devices such as DINGER, Orb, or FLOODER cannot be set up using iOS devices on the iOS 16 update.
This affects new devices out of the box or any device that has been factory reset. IC Home (Dash) devices that have already been set up with a password are not affected.
When attempting to set up or initialize an IC Home (Dash) device (using iOS devices on the iOS 16 update), after scanning the QR code and joining the hotspot, the app will not proceed to the next step of creating a device password.
An updated version of the app has been released on the App Store. If you are still experiencing this issue, please confirm your app is up to date.
Android devices or iOS devices on versions older than iOS 16, such as iOS 15.6, are not affected and can be used to set up the IC Home (DASH) devices.
