NOTICE
This function will only operate as expected if you have connected an electric strike or electromagnetic lock to the Dinger Doorstation.
Introduction
The Dinger Doorstation supports high frequency 13.56 MHz UID writable IC smart key cards / fobs. These are small portable devices, typically attached to a key ring or stored in a wallet, that are used for authentication, access control, or identification. In this case they are used to automatically unlock an electric strike or electromagnetic lock connected to a Dinger Doorstation. These keycards can be easily found online for purchase simply by searching for "13.56MHz MiFare".
Programming a key card / fob for access
01. Log directly into the Dinger Doorstation using it's LAN IP address via the web browser of your choice.

07. While you could assign multiple fobs and keycards to a group of individuals using a single user, this is not recommended. Best practice in a multiple user scenario is to create multiple users and assign their access keys individually. This will allow you to track entries into a building on a per user basis in the event of a security incident.

08. After the changes have been saved and assuming the fob or keycard has been programmed successfully, you should now be able to hold the device up the Dinger Doorstation and receive an audible message saying "Successfully Unlocked" at which point the electric door strike or electromagnetic lock will disengage allowing entry on the premises.
