This article will cover how to unbind an IC Home 2.0 device from an account in the ICVIEW Pro phone app.
Note: This is only applicable if the current account the device is bound to is inaccessible.
- If an IC Home 2.0 device is already bound to an account, the ICVIEW Pro app will let you know when you try to connect. Select the option, "Request to Unregister":
2. If the password of the device is known, you can enter it here, with the option to unregister. If the password is unknown, select, "Has the device password been lost?":
3. You will then be given a 4-character authorization code. Write the code down on a sheet of paper and select the arrow on the top right to continue on:
4. Next, you'll be directed to take a photo of the code you wrote down and the QR code of the device. Hit the plus sign to bring up your camera to take the photo. Hit the check symbol when completed:
5. Select "Request to unregister the device" and hit "Submit for review." After a few moments you will receive a confirmation that the unbinding process has been completed.
