IC Now: Importing Data

Because of the transitional shift from Smart ICRSS to IC Now, some clients may find it more convenient to import their existing data to IC Now. This guide will briefly go over how to import data.

Backup / Export Smart ICRSS Data

In Smart ICRSS select your NVR / Camera Data

Select "Backup"

Save the backup to a memorable location. For this example, we are using the Windows Desktop

Smart ICRSS will confirm whether the backup has been saved

Importing Data To IC Now

To import the data select "Import"

Locate the .xml file we saved to our memorable path from earlier and click "Import"

In the Bottom Right Corner of the screen you will see a message indicating whether the import was successful.
