NVR-8256DR-V2: Live View Setup

Setup

The NVR-8256DR-V2 uses custom saved live view groups, which can be viewed across the local and NVRSS-Pro platform.

1. Login to the NVR using the local Interface or NVRSS-Pro software. (Web UI is not recommended)
   
2. Upon login, you will be shown the Live View section. In the Live View Window, the added devices will be shown in the bottom left side under Resources. RTSP-added devices will be listed under RTSP Media.
   
   
   
3. On the View Tab, right-click View Group. A window will appear. Here, you can add a new View Group or a new View (Views can be created under groups for better organization).
   
   Click on Add View. A View window will appear. You can customize the view name on the bottom right side.
   
   You can now drag and drop cameras/ channels under the Resources tab.
   
   In the example above, dropping any cameras on the top, bottom left, or right of the camera will make that camera appear on the dropped location.
   
   
4. After creating a desired view, click OK to save. The saved view will appear under the View Group tab. You can double-click views under the group tab to view the cameras. Any created groups and views will be accessible on the local UI, web UI, and the NVRSS-Pro.
   
   You can edit a view by right-clicking on a View and clicking Edit
   
   Other options in the live view window include:

• Hovering the mouse to the top of a camera will reveal Other Options, including:
  • 2 Way Talk enable
  • Digital Zoom
  • Record Live Video
  • Take Snapshot
  • Instant Search (creates a search box on the live window)
  • Close channel
• PTZ Control: This is located under the Resouces tab. Click the PTZ tab to expand the PTZ options, then select a camera to operate.
  
• Intelligence Counter: Located in the bottom middle section of the Live View Window, this counter will display and track live data from IVS/ Intelligent Features of cameras from Faces, Humans, Vehicle, and on-motor Vehicles detected. Click to modify the Intelligence results from each camera/ channel.
  
  Intelligence results will be displayed on the right side of the camera.
  
• There are also shortcuts found in the bottom left side of the Live View Window: . These are for Instant Search, Snapshot, Record Control and Fullscreen toggle.
