Introduction
If you have multiple server deployments, you can link additional remote (off site) servers to your main site server to access their resources directly. This allows you to view live video channels, review real-time and past recorded events, and download recorded video.
Pre-deployment notes
- The on-site server will always be designated as “Current Site”. The remote sites should be named accordingly to ensure simple user operation.
- Every server needs to have purchased and applied the “Multi-site” license
- Multi-site configuration is saved individually on each PC with the desktop client deployed. If you change computers and log in into a new client install, you will need to repeat the process of enrolling the remote sites
- Only the super administrator and administrator accounts can be used to add remote sites and be used to authenticate and be added as remote sites.
- Ensure every IC Now Pro server is using the same software build.
- The maximum number of sites is 100. This includes the site you are currently using
