The account system is a new feature in IC View Pro that allows users to sync their devices across multiple phones or tablets on supported hardware. It also includes temporary notification caching. This means that if you miss or dismiss a notification, it will be saved to your account for a short time so the app can fetch it later.
Not all models will support the account system. Some existing recorders will need a firmware update to use it, while certain legacy products will not be supported. At the end of this article, you will find a section listing which models are eligible for firmware updates. All future products will include account system support by default.
The account system will resolve the issues outlined in Field Impact Notice - ICView+ Push Notifications

Signing up for an account
This section will walk you through creating an account in IC View Pro. An account is required to use the account system features, i.e. syncing devices and caching notifications. If you already have an account, you can skip this step.
- Click sign up from the home screen.
*If you already have devices imported from the previous version of IC View+, you can click Config in the bottom right and tap the large Log In button near the top to sign up.
- Choose your region. The app should automatically scroll to the recommended region but you can use the search bar at the top to locate it quickly.
- Enter your email, password, and check the terms and agreements box at the bottom then click Get Verification Code.
- Input the code from your email when prompted
- After signing up and logging in, IC View Pro will prompt you to enhance device security. This is optional. Enabling this feature will add two factor authentication when enrolling devices. You can press cancel if you don't want the feature enabled.
- You can verify whether a device is added locally or using the account system from the home page. As mentioned, the account system requires firmware to work. Your system will fail to enroll if you try to use the account system without supported firmware.
Current and legacy compatible recorders
Future products will support the account system as part of their baseline firmware. Existing and legacy devices will require a firmware update to enable this feature. The list below shows which models are currently planned to receive account system support. This list is subject to change as additional devices are tested and approved.
