Liveview is where users monitor cameras in real time. After a device or server is added, open the device list and select the server or camera you want to view.
Opening Liveview
To open Liveview:
- Open IC Secure.
- Tap the device list button in the bottom-right corner.
- Select the IC Secure server or camera you want to view.
The selected server or camera opens in Liveview.
Single Camera View
When a camera is opened, it displays in single-camera view. Tap the screen to show the available controls.
The toolbar provides quick access to common controls.

| Recorded Video | Opens the calendar and timeline controls for searching recorded footage. |
| Video quality | Opens the available video quality options for the selected camera. |
| Snapshot | Captures a still image from the current video view. |
| Audio | Controls available audio features when supported by the camera. |
| DO | Opens digital output controls when supported by the camera. DO stands for digital output. |
| Information | Opens camera information, such as the model name and camera name. |
Tap the refresh icon in the top-right corner to refresh the live video stream.
Recorded Video
The recorded video control opens the calendar and timeline controls for the selected camera.
Use the calendar to select the recording date. Use the timeline to move to the time you want to review.
Taking Snapshots
To take a snapshot:
- Open the camera in Liveview.
- Tap the screen to show the toolbar.
- Tap the snapshot icon.
The current frame is saved to the mobile device.
Note: The app may need photo access permission to save snapshots. If permission was denied, enable it from the mobile device’s system settings.
Video Quality
IC Secure can display available video quality options for the selected camera. The available options depend on the camera and stream configuration.
To change video quality:
- Open the camera in Liveview.
- Tap the screen to show the toolbar.
- Tap the Video quality control.
- Select the quality option you want to use.
Higher quality options may use more bandwidth. Lower quality options may improve performance on slower connections.
DO Control
DO stands for digital output. A digital output can be used to trigger a supported output connected to the camera, such as a relay or other external device.
If the camera supports digital output, tap DO to open DO control. Use the available toggle to turn the output on or off.
If DO control is not available, confirm that the camera supports digital output and that the output is configured.
Camera Information
Tap the information icon to open the camera information screen.
The information screen shows details such as the camera model name and camera name.
