Controlling PTZ Cameras with IC Secure Mobile

IC Secure provides PTZ controls for supported PTZ cameras. Available controls depend on the camera model and how the camera is configured.

Opening PTZ Controls

PTZ controls are available when viewing a supported PTZ camera in Liveview.

To open PTZ controls:

1. Open a supported PTZ camera in Liveview.
2. Tap the PTZ control button in the top-right corner of the video.
3. Use the on-screen PTZ controls to move or adjust the camera.

The PTZ control panel appears over the live video when PTZ controls are active. The zoom controls also appear near the lower-left side of the screen.

Moving the Camera

After PTZ controls are opened, use the directional controls to pan or tilt the camera.

You can also swipe on the live video to move the camera while PTZ controls are active.

Zoom Control

The zoom controls appear after PTZ controls are opened.

Move the zoom control toward + to zoom in. Move it toward - to zoom out.

Presets

Presets let you move a PTZ camera to a saved position. Presets must already be configured for the camera before they can be selected from the mobile app.

To move the camera to a preset:

1. Open the PTZ controls for the camera.
2. Tap the preset control.
3. Select the preset from the Preset list.

The camera moves to the selected preset position.

Other PTZ Controls

Additional PTZ controls may appear depending on the camera model and supported features.

If a control is not available, confirm that the camera supports the feature and that the feature is configured for the camera.
