This article will be about how to access your IC Home/Dash products built in SD card storage and how to save clips and footage.
To access the SD card on your IC Home app simply tap on the camera to bring up its live feed
Tap on the "View history record" link.
Tap on the SD Card icon located next to the cloud storage icon to pull the recordings.
Please allow a few moments for the network connection to load the request.
You'll know it will be ready because the track bar will change colors indicated below.
Here is an example of what the IC Home app will look like to confirm the recordings have been loaded.
The recordings will load up displaying lines of color in your search bar.
Blue is for straight recordings. (If enabled!)
Orange indicates Motion Detection. (Default enabled!)
The red line with arrows in the track bar is your cursor, it represents what time in the date you are viewing the recording.
To scan through a designated dates recordings simply drag the cursor along the track bar.
You can also pinch and zoom in to refine your search down and make it easier to find what you need.
If you are having difficulties tracking footage with the track bar. There is an option you can use with the "Hamburger" menu that is located off to the side of the "SD Card" icon
Once you select this menu it will display a list of clips divided up into sections by hour of the selected day.
If you have straight recordings enabled. The app will add those and divide straight recordings up into 5 minute increments through out every hour of the selected day.
Sharing and Saving footage
Once you have found the footage you are looking for, you have a few different options for saving captures designated below:
From left to right:
Snapshot image. Audio Recording. Video Recording.
Snapshot will snap a picture of the current frame that is being viewd and will save it to your devices gallery.
Audio will only record the audio of the recorded frames.
Video Recordings will start recording the footage in real time. There is no way to speed up the recording process.
To start a recoding tap on the record icon, it will change to a red activated icon. The recording notification will also be displayed in the recording at the top right corner of the frame.
Allow the recording to play your desired segment. Once your segment has ended tap on the record icon again to save the recording to your device.
To access the recording after it saves it can be located in the IC Home app at "Account" -> "Local Files"
Here is what your screen will look like when accessing recordings from the "Local Files" section.
When you want to share it with others, select the clip and tap on the middle "Share" symbol on the file.
