Camera Profile Conditions Management

Camera profiles can applied using profile management for greater control of camera conditions.

This article will review how to set and utilize profile management.

• Step 1 Select Setting > Camera > Conditions > Profile Management.
  The Profile Management interface is displayed.
• Step 2 Manage profile.

• When Profile Management is set as General it will reflect the general profile set under the conditions tab:

• Full Time enables your choice of either the day or night profile to always remain enabled.
• Schedule, you can drag the slide block to set certain time as Day or Night.
  • For example, set 8:00–18:00 as day, and 0:00–8:00 and 18:00–24:00 as night. 

• Day/Night, allows the camera to adjust to profiles according to the amount of light in the frame automatically.
  • Please note that certain cameras, like the License Plate Reader: IPEL-B2012X, do not benefit from profile settings. These cameras have profiles fine tuned already to monitor license plates and it should not be tampered with.

• Once you have selected the desired profile click "Save" to keep them.
