Turning Off LED Lights

This is an article for turning off the white LED light on cameras. Some may want it off for personal preferences or because the light is simply too bright in their windows.

To access any illumination settings on a camera, the camera's web menu needs to be accessed directly. There is currently no way to do this remotely through the NVR.

The settings to turn off lights will be under Camera -> Conditions -> Illuminator

With the following modes:

Auto: The camera will detect through its image feed when the light turns on. (Default)

Manual: This will switch it to a "Always On" manual setting where the brightness can be adjusted.

Off: Turns the LED light off.

Please note: If the illuminator is off you will need an external light source for the camera's color night vision to work properly
