Log
The log menu is used to retrieve logged events either directly from the camera systems or software logs from the locally captured events.
Device Log
Used to retrieve log data from connected devices.
- The Device tab will display the added devices.
- Select a device from the list.
- Log Type: Select the type of logs you want to search for. Options are included below.
- Time: Click on and select a time range.
- Click on Search to view the log results.
Client Log
Used to retrieve logged data from the desktop software.
- The Client tab allows for IC Now system logs.
- Log Type: Select the type of logs you want to search for. Options are:
- System log: Drop-down options include:All, User Login/Logout, and upgrade.
- Operation Log: options include: All, Start/ Stop (Live View Record and Playback), Export Records, PTZ Control and Add Group
- Alarm log: This will allow you to view events that have been captured in the alarm monitoring menu. You can view snapshots and recordings saved to the computer for the events.
- When pulling the Alarm Log, you need to also select the Device. It can be set to all connected devices or narrowed down to a specific camera.
- Time: Click on and select a time range.
- Click Search to view the logs.
