This article will go over the steps to set up a recording schedule for legacy recorders, Version 4.0, through the web interface. Legacy NVR's utilized older web browser rules that are no longer in use. In order to access these older systems over the network, a PC with Microsoft Edge in IE mode will be required to enable plugins.

ICRealtime recorders come defaulted to record continuously 24/7 and the hard drive is set to overwrite the oldest footage once the drive is full.
Here we'll cover setting up a recording schedule for motion/intelligent motion detection, but the same rules will apply to recording IVS rules such as trip wires and intrusion boxes. Whichever you choose, you'll need to ensure these are enabled and configured correctly in order for the recording schedule to function properly.

Legacy Recorders: 4.0
1. From the Main Menu, click 'Management.'
2. Click 'Storage.'
3. Click 'Schedule.'
4. Modify the Channel option to 'All' to save the configuration to every channel and then click 'Setting.'
5. In the window that opens, check the box for 'All' to select each day of the week, then check the box for 'MD' for Motion Detection (IVS is for tripwires/intrusion boxes), and then click 'OK.'
6. The recording schedule will now reflect the changes made. You'll see a yellow bar indicating Motion Detection running along the length of the time bar for each day. Click 'OK' to save the configuration.
