Perpetual Licenses are required and can be purchased depending on the use case and scale.
System Requirements
Server Installation
This step assumes you have server hardware meeting the minimum specifications as noted in the above system requirements.
Download the IC Now Pro Server Installation executable and copy it to a USB flash drive. Plug the USB drive into the desired server. Run the installation executable. If your server does not have at least 16GB of RAM you will be prompted with the following message:
NOTE: It is recommended to install the IC Now Pro Services Console on its own SSD/HDD as opposed to the same physical disk as the operating system. The reason for this is features like face & license plate recognition require higher disk I/O performance.
01. Read and Accept the EULA
02. Select your installation options. Typically, choose 'Main' instead of 'Sub' for the installation.
If your server has only 8GB of RAM (instead of the recommended 16GB+available), you cannot install the 'Object Search' component on the same physical system as the IC Now Pro Services Console & it will have to be run on another PC.
Depending on your server hardware the installation process could take up to 15 minutes.
03. Once the installation is complete, the configuration wizard will allow to set the NIC mode, select the broadcast IP address, WAN mode, & set the stream acquisition network priority.
04. The final screen will allow you to change the TLS version from 1.2 to 1.1 or 1.0 respectively, but it is recommended to leave the default option of TLS 1.2 selected to maintain the highest level of security.
05. After the the finish button is selected the services will open and the components of the IC Now Pro Services Console will begin to come online.
After the services have all come online the next step is to install the IC Now Pro desktop client on another windows PC to begin user and device setup.
