Introduction
IC Now Pro includes a mobile app for iOS and Android to connect to the servers. The app is free and can be acquired by inputting the local IP of the Server with a browser using a PC on the same network. Clicking on the QR can will give you a store link to download the app.
You can also search for IC Now Pro in the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
Adding a Server to IC Now Pro
This setup assumes you have already installed, configured, and added devices to your licensed IC Now Pro Server. For remote access, this setup also assumes the proper ports have been forwarded on the local network.
- Open the IC Now Pro app. You should see a login screen, as shown below. Input the Login credentials under Username/ Password, the IP address (external if the mobile device is remote from the server network) under Server Address, and Port information (443 by default) under Port.
- Once logged in, you will be taken to the Home section. Note: You can change the app theme from light to dark mode by going to Setting>General>Theme Mode.
- Function Modules: This section displays Live View, Playback, Human, Vehicle and Face Search and other Modules. This section can be customized by: Swiping up on Android or scrolling down and tapping the "Personalized Settings" button on iOS.

- View/ Playback History: This area displays recently viewed cameras from live or playback view
- Alarm Statistics: Overhead view of Event Alarms
- Server Info: Displays the Server resources and status, including CPU, Memory and Disk usage, and network bandwidth.

- Home Screen: Main Screen for Live View, Playback and Search Queries.
- Map: Displays GIS (Google Map) or uploaded Raster maps of the site.
Tapto select the Map type.
- Notifications/ Alerts: Displays Event Alerts. Tap on an event to view detailed information or recorded footage. Note that event alerts must be configured in the IC Now Server.
- Tap on
to change Notification/ Alert Subscriptions.
- Tap on
to change Filter by Time/ Alarm Type and Handled Status.
- Tap on
- Setting: Switch between servers, configure Favorites, Monitoring and Message Settings as well as mobile display settings.
- Unlock Pattern: After adding a device, you can set up an unlock Pattern to unlock the app. You can configure this under. Setting>General. You can toggle it under Gesture Login or change the pattern under Modify Gesture.
Live View
- Open the IC Now Pro App. On the Home section, tap on Live View (
).
- Tap on a "+" sign to select a camera.
- The device tree will be shown. Select a device/ camera to view its live feed.
- The camera will be displayed. Tap on "
" to expand the function icons.
The live view quick icons are displayed below. Note that any functions that are greyed out are either not supported by the device or the logged-in user lacks permission.

Live View Tips:
- Double-tap the video to zoom in or out.
- When played channels exceed the number of split views, swipe to the left or right to
view other videos. - To move the video to another tile, tap and hold a video, and then move it to the desired window.
- To delete a video, tap and hold the video till the trash bin appears at the top of the
interface, drag the video to the trash bin, and then release.
Creating Favorites
You can add devices as favorites, allowing you to view the camera groups quickly.
- On the Home section, go to Setting (
) > Favorites
- Tap on
, then select New Favorite and then create the folder name for the group.
- Tap on the created Favorite folder, then tap
. Select "New channel Added" to select channels in the device list, and then tap Favorites to Save. You can also save channels to Favorites on the Live interface.
Playback
Before viewing playback in the app, you need to set up a recording plan, choose where to save the videos, and turn on the plan in the IC Now platform.
- On the Home interface, tap on Playback (
).
- You can either Playback a single or multiple channels.
* Playback a single channel: Tapin a window and then select a channel in the device list.
* Play multiple channels: Tapon the upper right. Select up to 4 channels from the device list.
- Select between Center Record (Saved on Server) and Device Record (Saved on NVR/DVR). A date with a blue dot indicates days with recordings. Center Record is set by default. It can be modified in Me > Setting > Query Record Type.
- You can also select Video Type from: All, Timer, Events, and Motion. Tap on a date with a blue dot to view the playback.
- The playback video will be shown. You can use swipe gestures to navigate the Playback Timeline and pinch gestures to zoom in/ out of the Timeline.
Playback Function Icons:

- After tapping, 2 Green brackets will be overlaid onto the timeline. Move the brackets so that the footage you want to capture is between them. Click
to save the footage to your phone or
to cancel.

Face Recognition, Human & Vehicle Detection Search
You must set up the proper AI functions in the IC Now Pro server to make the search functional.
- On the Home section, tap on Face Recognition (
), Human Detection (
) or Vehicle Detection (
) Search. In this example, Vehicle Detection is shown. The method is similar for all.
- Input the Channel, Start and End times. You can also select different attributes depending on the AI function.
- Click
after you input the search parameters.
- The search results will be displayed as an event list. You can also tap on
to modify different attributes to filter.
- Tap on an event to view the details or play back the footage.
Playback Tips:
- You can remove the live preview pop-up by going to Settings > Monitoring Settings> Playback > Picture-in-Picture.
- Double-tap the video to change from Single to Split View.
- When multiple channels are being played back in the single view mode, swipe the window to the left or right to view other videos.
- To move the video to another tile, tap and hold a video, and then move it to the desired window.
- To delete a playback screen, tap and hold the video until the trash bin appears at the top of the
interface, then drag the video to the trash bin, and then release.
Login/ Logout or Change Servers
You can login to a different account, add another Server, or change to a different Server.
- Go to Setting (
). The top area will display the account you are currently logged into.
Tap onto go to Account Info.
- Tap on
to Log out with the current account or
to change the Server (if another was added already) or add another account (Server).
- To add another server and account. Tap
. You will need to input the IP, Port and Login information of the server and tap Login to add the Server.
