Reviewing and Backing Up Footage (NVR/AVR 3.2)

Local Interface:

1. Right click and select Main Menu
2. Log into the recorder by completing the pattern or entering the password using the mouse and onscreen keyboard
3. In the main menu, locate and select the Search icon, this will open the playback menu
4. On the right hand side of the screen, locate the calendar and select the date you wish to review (if there is footage available to view, the day will appear in green) 
5. Below the calendar is the camera list, select the check-box for the channel you wish to review
6. After a minimum of one camera is selected, you will see a highlighted bar across the bottom of the screen (just below this highlighted bar is a color-code for what each color represents within that bar)
7. Using the mouse cursor, left click anywhere on the highlighted bar. This will load the video from that specific point and begin to play.
8. If you'd like to export the footage, click on the highlighted bar where you'd like the saved footage to begin then click the scissors icon on the lower right section of the menu (this will modify the starting time of the clip to the current point in the video.)
9. Now left click where you'd like the saved clip to end and left click the scissors icon again. (this will modify the ending time of the clip to the current point in the video.)
10. At this point, you will see that the disc icon to the right of the scissors icon and clip timeframe is now available to be left clicked, select that to bring up the Backup menu.
11. The backup menu will show the external storage device in the top section of the menu and in the bottom section it shows the channel name, record type, start time, end time and file size. Select Backup in order to select the file location of the clip on the external drive.
12. Select Start to begin backing up the footage, after which there will be a progress bar on screen detailing the time left until the footage is finished backing up.

Web Interface:

1. Log into the recorder
2. Select Playback
3. On the right hand side of the screen, select the camera grid selector to choose the cameras you'd like to review
4. In the calendar above the camera selector grid, select a day that you'd like to review (any date that has available footage will be highlighted in blue)
5. After selecting the day and camera successfully the bar at the bottom of the screen will be highlighted (the color of the bar corresponds to the record type at the bottom of the screen)
6. Click the highlighted bar at the bottom of the screen to being playback from that specific point
7. In order to backup the recorded footage, left click on the highlighted bar where you'd like the clip to begin and then click the scissors icon on the right hand side of the menu (this will denote the starting time of the saved clip)
8. Left click on the highlighted bar at the bottom of the screen where you'd like the saved clip to end, then click the scissors icon again. (this will denote the ending time of the saved clip)
9. Left click the export icon to the right of the scissors icon and saved clip timeline in order to begin saving the clip to your computer (in order to change the default save path for the footage, click setup and travel to Encode and change the path listed there)
