IC Secure Desktop is IC Realtime’s Windows-based video management software for IC Secure systems. Depending on the installation type, IC Secure Desktop can be used as the recording server, the viewing client, or both. Cameras connect to the server, video is recorded based on the configured recording rules, and users can view live and recorded footage through the desktop interface.

How It Fits Together
IC Secure (Desktop) is the main software used to manage IC Secure systems. Cameras can be discovered on the network or added manually, then managed through the IC Secure server.
The server records video based on the configured schedules and recording rules. Recorded video is saved to local or network storage based on the system storage configuration.
Users can view live and recorded video through the desktop client, web client, or IC Secure Mobile app. NVR substations, including ND/NV Series recorders, can also handle recording at remote locations while the central IC Secure server provides centralized management.
