Background
The IC Realtime Control4 NVR Driver allows control and response for the NVR's Alarm outputs. This setup assumes you have added and configured the latest IC Realtime Control4 NVR Driver and any IPC/ PTZ Drivers, as well as set up Inter-Driver communication. Please see this link for Control4 Driver setup.
Configuring Alarm-Out Relays
1) On the System Design section, navigate to the Search Tab Under Items. Search and add a generic Control 4 relay driver.
2) Go to the Connections section. Select the added Relay. Under Control & Audio Video Connections, drag and drop the Relay into the appropriate Alarm output of the NVR to bind the connection.
3) You can now control the Alarm Output of the NVR via the Relay driver. For example, you can set programming in the Programming section under Device Events when the Alarm Out opens or closes. Under Actions, you can also open, close, or toggle the alarm output if the relay is selected.
