Crestron Home: NVR Event Management Driver

Disclaimer: Before moving ahead with the following steps, it's expected that the Crestron Processor, source devices, and rooms are already configured.

This article will be a guide on how to pair the NVR Event Management driver to an NVR in Crestron Home.

Note: For integration we recommend creating a new account in the NVR and each individual camera.

NVR Event Management 

1. Navigate to the Pair Devices screen and select a room. Then under the Device Types menu select Drivers.

2. Select NVR>IC Realtime>Event Manager

3. Enter a name for NVR Event Manager, the IP address of the NVR, the login credentials for the NVR, and click Ok. Note: The IP Port will be set to 80 and in most cases should not be changed. And if there is no User Name/Password boxes listed check the Requires Authentication box. 

4.  Next, you'll be asked to enter your Crestron Dealer Name and the Project's Site Name. Select Ok and you will see the NVR Event Manager driver listed under the chosen room.
