Parameters:
- Inside the 'system' login go to the 'Parameters' tab
- Log this is how long the server will retain the system logs. MAX 90 days.
- Alarm info is how long the server will retain that information. MAX 90 days.
- Sync setup is for the time on the devices added to the server. Please make sure to turn this off if some devices (DVR, NVR, IP Cameras, etc) are in different time zones then the server.
- Alarm Picture FTP server is for making the server into an FTP. The info created into the server in this section needs to be put in the NVR, DVR, or camera in its FTP section.
- Org/Channel SN is to show the organization and channels in the client software.
- Multicast is to use that network protocol.
- POS is not applicable due to no device currently to set up.
- Heatmap is how long the server will retain the heatmap information. MAX 90 days.
System Configuration:
- HTTPS is for a more secure connection to the server's web interface. This will disable HTTP.
- Password Expiry Date is to lock up the admin account and system account for the web interface.
- Password Lock Setup is for how long the web interface on both system and config will stay idle till it logs out the user out of the setup.
Upload:
- This is where you can host files, programs, and other items for offline use.
Backup Restore:
- Backup is where you can extract all the information from the server. This will also extract the login info of both system and admin account for the web interface. The file will show up as a '.dbk' file.
- This is important to do every time settings get changed on the server. The server's OS (operating system) is hosted on one drive. If that fails then you will lose all information.
- To restore from a '.dbk' you will go under restore and browse to the file.
