Alarm Scheme:
- Go into the 'System' login on the ICM and under 'Business' go into the 'Alarm' tab.
- Press the '+' add.
- A window will pop up and this will allow you to add a 'Scheme name'
- Link level is for your 'Alarm flow'
- The time template is where you select a template pre-made or create a new template.
- Then press next. The next window is 'Alarm Source and Operation'
- Under 'Alarm Source' you have different tabs which are different alarms you can set. A device, Video Channel, Alarm input channel, etc.
- Whichever tab you pick the window will change. (ie; device will be for a hard drive full or error on an NVR, DVR, etc)
- Once you pick the alarm. Then under 'Corresponding Link Operation' will allow you to pick what the ICM server will do if this alarm comes in.
- The record tab will allow you to save the alarm on the server if you select the 'center' as the position. Also can select what bitstream the alarm will record back to the server.
- The email tab allows you to send an email to a user. Once the alarm is triggered. SMS tab will send a text.
- TV tab is not applicable due to no TV wall solution as of yet.
- The user tab will notify an online user via the ICRealtime Client software.
- Then press save and it will show you a page to confirm the settings then press next.
- It will then become a line item where you can press the 'pencil' icon to edit the alarm or use the slider to turn it off or on.
Alarm Storm:
- The ICM server can handle up to 80 different alarms per second.
- In the event of an alarm happening more than once. This window will allow you to set how many seconds between each alarm.
Link Level:
- This is your 'alarm flow' the levels are what flow the ICM will do if the alarm you created is a level 1 alarm then what steps can it do to notify the alarm is happening.
