Org (Organization):
Inside the web interface of the ICM-7100SE, you have the ability to break down the devices being added to the server down to your company name or locations of where these devices will be located. This will give you the ability to have the end-user go to certain recorders based on the title of the device, also it will help when creating roles for the accounts when allowing a certain user to only see a certain "org" (ie. Security guard A works in the east wing, I created an east wing "org" with the devices tied back to that "org" this way when creating accounts everything is neatly organized based on the project)
- First, you will need to log into the web interface of the ICM. (ie. http://192.168.1.108).
- Then navigate to general and "org".
- You have the ability to change the main "org name" by pressing the pencil icon.
- To create sub "org" you will press "+ add"
- Create a lower "org" name and SN: is not a required field.
- A memo is for notes for the admin, also not required.
Adding a device to the ICM:
The ICM has the ability to communicate with different recorders across the local network and Wan networks (remote devices). The ICM server can connect to recorder and cameras via the TCP port. Adding these devices will allow the ICM client to see the recorders and cameras for the end-user.
